וכד פסק שלמה מלצלאה ואשתא נחתת ואשתרבבת מן שמיא עלוי מדבחא וגמרת עלתא ונכסת קודשיא ואיקר שכנתיה דיי אתמלי ית ביתא:
bytha yth athmly dyy shknthyh wayqr qwdshya wnksth eltha wgmrth mdbkha elwy shmya mn washthrbbth nkhthth washtha mltslah shlmh psq wkd
Now when Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and Yahweh’s glory filled the house.

ולא יכילו כהניא למיעל לבית מקדשא דיי ארום אתמלי איקר שכנתא דיי ית בית מקדשא דיי:
dyy mqdsha byth yth dyy shkntha ayqr athmly arwm dyy mqdsha lbyth lmyel khnya ykylw wla
The priests could not enter into Yahweh’s house, because Yahweh’s glory filled Yahweh’s house.

וכל בני ישראל חמין כד נחתת ואשתרבבת אשתא על ביתא ואיקר שכנתא דיי שרא על ביתא וגחנו על אפיהון על ארעא על רובדא וסגדן ומודן קדם יי ארום טב ארום לעלם טוביה:
Twbyh lelm arwm Tb arwm yy qdm wmwdn wsgdn rwbda el area el apyhwn el wgkhnw bytha el shra dyy shkntha wayqr bytha el ashtha washthrbbth nkhthth kd khmyn yshral bny wkl
All the children of Israel looked on, when the fire came down, and Yahweh’s glory was on the house. They bowed themselves with their faces to the ground on the pavement, worshiped, and gave thanks to Yahweh, saying, “For he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever!”

ומלכא וכל עמא דבחין דבחא קדם יי:
yy qdm dbkha dbkhyn ema wkl wmlka
Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before Yahweh.

ודבח שלמה מלכא ית דבחא תורין עשרין ותרין אלפין ועאן מאה ועשרין אלפין וחנכו ית בית מקדשא דיי מלכא וכל עמא:
ema wkl mlka dyy mqdsha byth yth wkhnkw alpyn weshryn mah wean alpyn wthryn eshryn thwryn dbkha yth mlka shlmh wdbkh
King Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty-two thousand head of cattle and a hundred twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated God’s house.

וכהניא על מטרתהון קימין וליואי על דוכנהון בזיני זמר ומשבחין קדם יי דקריב ית דוד למנאה יתיה מלכא ואשרי עלוי רוח קודשא לאודאה קדם יי ארום לעלם טוביה וכהניא תקעין בחצוצריא לקבליהון וכל ישראל קימין:
qymyn yshral wkl lqblyhwn bkhtswtsrya thqeyn wkhnya Twbyh lelm arwm yy qdm lawdah qwdsha rwkh elwy washry mlka ythyh lmnah dwd yth dqryb yy qdm wmshbkhyn zmr bzyny dwknhwn el wlyway qymyn mTrthhwn el wkhnya
The priests stood, according to their positions; the Levites also with instruments of music of Yahweh, which David the king had made to give thanks to Yahweh, when David praised by their ministry, saying “For his loving kindness endures forever.” The priests sounded trumpets before them; and all Israel stood.

וקדיש שלמה ית מציעות דרתא די קדם בית מקדשא דיי ארום עבד תמן ית עלותא וית תרבי נכסת קודשיא מטול דמדבחא דנחשא די עבד שלמה דחיק ולא יכיל לסוברא ית עלתא וית מנחתא וית תרביא:
thrbya wyth mnkhtha wyth eltha yth lswbra ykyl wla dkhyq shlmh ebd dy dnkhsha dmdbkha mTwl qwdshya nksth thrby wyth elwtha yth thmn ebd arwm dyy mqdsha byth qdm dy drtha mtsyewth yth shlmh wqdysh
Moreover Solomon made the middle of the court that was before Yahweh’s house holy; for there he offered the burnt offerings and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offering, the meal offering, and the fat.

ועבד שלמה ית חגא בעדנא שבעתי יומין מן בתר דעבד שבעתי יומין דחנכת ביתא וכלהון ישראל עמיה קהלא רבא לחדא מן מעלנא דאנטוכיא עד נילוס דמצרים:
dmtsrym nylws ed danTwkya melna mn lkhda rba qhla emyh yshral wklhwn bytha dkhnkth ywmyn shbethy debd bthr mn ywmyn shbethy bedna khga yth shlmh webd
So Solomon held the feast at that time for seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great assembly, from the entrance of Hamath to the brook of Egypt.

ועבדו ביומא תמינאה כניש קדם יי ארום חנכת מדבחא עבדו שבעתי יומין וחגא דמטליא שבעתי יומין:
ywmyn shbethy dmTlya wkhga ywmyn shbethy ebdw mdbkha khnkth arwm yy qdm knysh thmynah bywma webdw
On the eighth day, they held a solemn assembly; for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.

וביום עשרין ותלתא לירחא שביעאה פטר ית עמא למשכניהון ואזלו לקרויהון חדן ושפירי לבא על כל טבתא דעבד יי לדוד עבדיה דאתפתחן תרעי בית מקדשא מטול זכותיה ולשלמה בריה דקביל יי צלותיה ושרת שכנתא דיי בבית מקדשא ולישראל עמיה דאתקבלו ברעוא קרבניהון ונחתת אשתא מן שמיא ואשתרבבת על מדבחא וגמרת נכסיהון:
nksyhwn wgmrth mdbkha el washthrbbth shmya mn ashtha wnkhthth qrbnyhwn brewa dathqblw emyh wlyshral mqdsha bbyth dyy shkntha wshrth tslwthyh yy dqbyl bryh wlshlmh zkwthyh mTwl mqdsha byth threy dathpthkhn ebdyh ldwd yy debd Tbtha kl el lba wshpyry khdn lqrwyhwn wazlw lmshknyhwn ema yth pTr shbyeah lyrkha wthltha eshryn wbywm
On the twenty-third day of the seventh month, he sent the people away to their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the goodness that Yahweh had shown to David, to Solomon, and to Israel his people.

ופסק שלמה ית בית מקדשא דיי וית בית מלכותא וחסל ית כל מה דמסליק על לבא דשלמה למעבד בבית מקדשא דיי ובביתיה עבד ואצלח:
watslkh ebd wbbythyh dyy mqdsha bbyth lmebd dshlmh lba el dmslyq mh kl yth wkhsl mlkwtha byth wyth dyy mqdsha byth yth shlmh wpsq
Thus Solomon finished Yahweh’s house and the king’s house; and he successfully completed all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in Yahweh’s house and in his own house.

ואתגלי מימרא דיי לשלמה בליליא ואמר ליה שמיעא קדמי צלותך ואתרעיתי באתרא הדין למהוי לי לבית דבח קורבניא:
qwrbnya dbkh lbyth ly lmhwy hdyn bathra wathreythy tslwthk qdmy shmyea lyh wamr blylya lshlmh dyy mymra wathgly
Then Yahweh appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him, “I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for myself for a house of sacrifice.

הא כד אכלי שמיא מלאחתא מטרא והא כד אפקד על גובאי לאכול פירי ארעא וכד אגרי מלאך דמותא על חוביהון דעמי:
demy khwbyhwn el dmwtha mlak agry wkd area pyry lakwl gwbay el apqd kd wha mTra mlakhtha shmya akly kd ha
“If I shut up the sky so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people,

ומתכנעין עמי דאתקרי שמי עליהון ויעבדון תתובתא ויצלון ויבעון מן קדמי ויתובון מן ארחתהון בישיא ואנא אקבל מן שמיא תתובתהון ואשרי ואשבוק לחוביהון ואעיל אסותא לארעהון:
larehwn aswtha waeyl lkhwbyhwn washbwq washry ththwbthhwn shmya mn aqbl wana byshya arkhthhwn mn wythwbwn qdmy mn wybewn wytslwn ththwbtha wyebdwn elyhwn shmy dathqry emy wmthkneyn
if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

כדון יהי רעוא מן קדם מימרי דאצלי אודני לקבלא צלותא דמצלין עמי באנפי אתרא הדין:
hdyn athra banpy emy dmtslyn tslwtha lqbla awdny datsly mymry qdm mn rewa yhy kdwn
Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to prayer that is made in this place.

וכדון אתרעיתי במימרי וקדישית ית ביתא הדין לאשראה שכנתי תמן עד עלם ויהי רעותי לאוטבא תמן כל יומיא:
ywmya kl thmn lawTba rewthy wyhy elm ed thmn shknthy lashrah hdyn bytha yth wqdyshyth bmymry athreythy wkdwn
For now I have chosen and made this house holy, that my name may be there forever; and my eyes and my heart will be there perpetually.

ואת אין תפלח קדמי ותהך בארחן דתקנן קדמי היכמה דהליך דוד אבוך ולמעבד היכמה די פקדתך וקימי ודיני תטר:
thTr wdyny wqymy pqdthk dy hykmh wlmebd abwk dwd dhlyk hykmh qdmy dthqnn barkhn wthhk qdmy thplkh ayn wath
“As for you, if you will walk before me as David your father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes and my ordinances,

ואקים ית כורסי מלכותך היכמה דגזרית עם דוד אבוך למימר לא יפסוק לך גבר יתיב על כורסי מלכותי ושליט על ישראל:
yshral el wshlyT mlkwthy kwrsy el ythyb gbr lk ypswq la lmymr abwk dwd em dgzryth hykmh mlkwthk kwrsy yth waqym
then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, according as I covenanted with David your father, saying, ‘There shall not fail you a man to be ruler in Israel.’

ואין תיבין אתון ותשבקון קימי ופקודי די יהבית קדמיכון ותהכון ותפלחון לטעות עממין נכראין ותסגדון להון:
lhwn wthsgdwn nkrayn emmyn lTewth wthplkhwn wthhkwn qdmykwn yhbyth dy wpqwdy qymy wthshbqwn athwn thybyn wayn
But if you turn away and forsake my statutes and my commandments which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them,

ואטלטלנון מעלוי ארעאי די יהבית להון וית ביתא הדין דקדישית לאשראה ביה שכינתי ארחק מן קדמי ואתנניה למתלין ולשועי בכל עממיא:
emmya bkl wlshwey lmthlyn wathnnyh qdmy mn arkhq shkynthy byh lashrah dqdyshyth hdyn bytha wyth lhwn yhbyth dy areay melwy waTlTlnwn
then I will pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have made holy for my name, I will cast out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.

וביתא הדין די הוה עלאה יהי חרוב כל מאן די יעבר עלוי יכלי וימר מטול מה עבד יי הכדין לארעא הדא ולביתא הדין:
hdyn wlbytha hda larea hkdyn yy ebd mh mTwl wymr ykly elwy yebr dy man kl khrwb yhy elah hwh dy hdyn wbytha
This house, which is so high, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and say, ‘Why has Yahweh done this to this land and to this house?’

וימרון מן בגלל דשבקו ית פולחנא דיי אלהא דאבהתהון דאפקנון מארעא דמצרים ואתקיפו בטעות עממיא וסגידו להון ופלחונון מטול היכנא איתי עליהון ית כל בישתא הדא:
hda byshtha kl yth elyhwn aythy hykna mTwl wplkhwnwn lhwn wsgydw emmya bTewth wathqypw dmtsrym marea dapqnwn dabhthhwn alha dyy pwlkhna yth dshbqw bgll mn wymrwn
They shall answer, ‘Because they abandoned Yahweh, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and took other gods, worshiped them, and served them. Therefore he has brought all this evil on them.’”
